Very cool little spot! Cute decor. Owner is very funny and has been working there as a server since moving to the States. Great food, wonderful service! Babaganoush was fresh and had amazing smoky flavor to it, so they definitely know how to prepare dishes properly!

Food was soooo good and tasted so fresh. We got the Doner, Tzatziki, and Borek (1 entree, 2 apps). Everything tasted phenomenally. We had multiple servers checking in on us. Highly suggest coming here for good Turkish food or just to try something new like me since I have never been to a Turkish restaurant. Will absolutely be coming back!

I dearly love Bosphoros Cafe. I’ve been a patron for years. Every time I go, the staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food is as top notch as the staff. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Turkish Delight and the zucchini pancakes are my favorites! *Edited to note that the dining room photo was taken at 2:30pm on. Wednesday afternoon in February. It’s normally a lot busier!

I just couldn’t get over the amazing food we had at Pasha (Turkish) Restaurant the other day—so I asked my hubby to find another Turkish spot nearby. Yesterday, we ended up dining at Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine, and wow, we were in love all over again! The combo appetizer platter was out of this world—every item on that plate was bursting with flavor. For our entree, my husband ordered the mixed grill platter, which was super delicious and came in a generous portion, so he shared it with me. But I also ordered my all-time fave: grilled lamb chops. Oh my gosh... I think that was the best grilled lamb chop I’ve ever tasted! Perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and incredibly tender. And nope—I didn’t share it! We even had leftovers from the mixed grill, but still ended up ordering another round of that heavenly appetizer platter. It was just that good. Amazing food, excellent service, and the cherry on top—I got to meet some fellow Filipinos while we were there. Such a happy night!

While not without competition, Bosphorus is my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in Indianapolis—and the one I’m most likely to bring out-of-town guests to. The food is absolutely fantastic—rich textures, bold flavors, and savory aromas that make each dish deeply satisfying. The atmosphere is a feast for the eyes, transporting you to Istanbul the moment you walk in. Service is quick and attentive, reservations are available, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve been to Bosphorus many times—and I hope to return many times more. One of my top spots in the city.

The absolute best!! The food is really tasty!! I had mixed grill platter which can be shared by 2 people. It had all kinds of meat and its super flavorful. I would also highly recommend the baklava there...also Ayran is a must try.

Amazing place. Halal friendly. I had no idea that Turkish and Greek cuisine shared so many similarities, and this place represents so very well. The warm pita bread, the lentil soup that was smooth like bisque and flavorful. The wraps are thin, and hard to hold but even with a knife and fork were all I’d hoped for. I had the Doner wrap and my wife the chicken wrap, both spiced warmly and exactly what you’d expect of a Mediterranean meat. And the baklava... I was afraid to order it because the main course left us so full, but the owner brought a piece out to me, and good grief. Lighter, softer than the Greek versions I’m used to, not overly sweet, and wholly amazing. I would order it over baklava anywhere else. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic, the staff insanely friendly. I urge you to try this place. You won’t be disappointed.
